Normally it takes some time for a Microsoft Partner to change from the Silver partner status to the Gold partner status. We are no different in that respect. The amount of time that it took for us to change from Silver partner to Gold partner is probably a little shorter than most. As it took us 5 days (which included a weekend, so actually only 3 business days) to change from Silver Cloud Partner to Gold Cloud Partner with Microsoft.
What this means to our customers is that Microsoft has done an even more in depth review of our customer successes and found that we are delivering the kinds of solutions that Microsoft and their customers want to see. Most importantly Microsoft and our customers want to see successfully implemented solutions using the Windows Azure platform, which are have been able to deliver time and time again for our customers.
