I’m excited to be speaking at the Microsoft Fabric Community Conference this year, which takes place March 31 through April 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada. I will be co-presenting 2 sessions with Kerry Kolosko and Shannon Lindsay as well as participating in some other data viz fun. You can find session descriptions below. The lineup for this conference looks fantastic whether you are a Fabric enthusiast or more focused on Power BI.

Our Sessions
Intro to Data Visualization in Fabric Notebooks for the Power BI Pro
Are you a Power BI report pro who is curious about data visualization in Fabric notebooks? Then this session is for you. We’ll explore notebooks in Fabric and discuss when you might use a notebook instead of a Power BI report. You’ll learn how to get started creating visuals in notebooks using Python. We’ll compare capabilities of common Python libraries with more complex visuals such as Deneb. And we’ll show you how you can combine Power BI reports and Fabric notebooks. Expand your data viz skills by adding notebooks to your repertoire.
Viz It Live: An Audience-Driven Adventure
Welcome to Viz It Live! In this show, you call the shots! We’ll create data visualizations in Power BI based upon audience feedback. You pick the dataset, set the theme, and decide the type of visual, then watch as we tackle the challenge of creating meaningful insights under the clock and some pressure. Come for the Power BI tips, stay for the amusing banter.
I hope to see you at our sessions!
